Celebrity Lindsay Lohan Hairstyles
This page has photos of Lindsay Lohan hairstyles. Hairstyle.com shows you how to copy Lindsay's hairstyles, so you can look like Lindsay Lohan, star of 'Mean Girls' and 'Herbie: Fully Loaded'.
Lindsay Lohan, the teen starlet who brought red hair back to the forefront of fashion has changed her hair color so many times over the past few years, we're not even sure what color she is now!.
She went from gorgeous natural red hair to platinum blond, to dark brunette, back to flame red, to coppery red, back to blonde.... phew!
Of course Lindsay Lohan is lucky enough to have only the best hair stylists to satisfy her chameleon-like hair changes, but if you too are wanting a drastic hair color change, here are some tips to ensure your hair stays in the very best condition.
Going from brown to blonde:
If you want to lighten your hair more than 3 shades below your natural color, you are going to have to use bleach. Bleaching your hair is hydrogen peroxide removing some or most of the natural pigment in your hair. This is step one of the 'double process'. The second step is toning.
Bleaching is permanent and is damaging to your hair. You will need to have your roots touched up every 6-8 weeks to maintain the color. Only apply bleach to the roots you want to lighten - if you apply more bleach on already lightened hair you will damage and dry out your hair.
If you decide to go blonde, do a deep-conditioning treatment once a week to reduce damage to the ends of your hair.
If you were a very light color to begin with and you don't maintain your regrowth, the light blonde roots can make your hair look thin on top. Touch up your roots every 4-6 weeks.
Brown color tends to fade a little over time and loses that rich hue. Invest in some color-enhancing shampoo and conditioner to keep your color for longer.
If you are not sure if brunette is for you, start off slowly with a few dark lowlights around your face.
You may want to brighten your red tones with a red hair rinse or hair dye. If you want to go a vibrant red, you will have to bleach your hair and then use red hair dye on top.
Red tends to fade quite quickly so make sure you use products specifically for dyed hair.

Going from blonde to brown:
If you have blonde hair and you want to go dark, you may need a reddish brown. The red tones act as a filler - if you dye your hair an ashy brown it may go grayish and flat. The red tones will give your hair great depth. If you were a very light color to begin with and you don't maintain your regrowth, the light blonde roots can make your hair look thin on top. Touch up your roots every 4-6 weeks.

Going from brown to red:
When removing the natural pigment of dark hair it goes through several color changes - from black, to brown, to red, to orange, to yellow to white. So if you are wanting to go red from naturally dark brown hair, you will need to bleach your hair using a lower strength bleach. You may want to brighten your red tones with a red hair rinse or hair dye. If you want to go a vibrant red, you will have to bleach your hair and then use red hair dye on top.

If you hair is blonde and you want to go a vibrant red, then lucky you. Your already lightened hair will go bright red! You will need to keep touching up the color as it will fade fairly quickly. Red hair dye on blonde hair will fade to a pinkish color. Coppery reds will fade to a faded orange color.

New Natural Cholesterol Treatments For Healthy Hair
Cholesterol treatments for hair are available in nearly every retail store. The trouble with these treatments are they tend to be expensive and they include a wealth of ingredients sure to dry out the hair. Natural methods of creating a cholesterol glaze for deep conditioning the hair, are no better. These natural methods most often include packaged mayonnaise which is full of preservative and very unnatural ingredients. In order to create the ideal at home cholesterol treatment for shiny and smooth hair, you must start by creating a natural cholesterol treatment.
Mayonnaise is nothing more than eggs and oil. Therefore, in order to truly hydrate the hair, all you will need is eggs and oil. In a food processor, crack three eggs and cover with the machine lid. Turn the machine on high and begin to drizzle in pure olive oil. After a few minutes, the mixture will turn in to home made mayonnaise.
In order to treat the hair with your new cholesterol treatments, you will need a fresh clean towel, some plastic wrap and a blow dryer. Begin by spreading the cholesterol treatment all over your hair the same way you would lather the hair with shampoo. Next, after washing your hands, wrap your head with saran wrap. Finally, wrap your head with a towel, the thinner the better, and heat the towel with the hair dryer for 5 minutes. Wait for 5 minutes and repeat. After the treatment, you can wash and style your hair as normal.
After you have treated your hair with this natural cholesterol treatment, you will never return to a store bought product again. There is nothing better than looking in the mirror and noticing how shiny and healthy your hair really is, not just how shiny and healthy it looks.

Tips Choosing Hair Care Product Ideas
All kinds of hair care products are available on the market today. You have your products for blondes, brunettes, redheads, frizz, waves; color-treated hair… the list goes on for miles. It can become very overwhelming to try and find a product that you like, and different products will react differently for different hair types. This is generally what keeps the hair care product industry rolling. Instead of wasting tons of money on products that may or may not help you hair to look and feel any better than it does now, why not try a natural homemade hair care product? Since you are making it, you know what goes into it. Can you honestly pronounce half of the ingredients on your shampoo bottle? Eventually your stylist will notice the waxy build up presented by several of the more well known products on the market.
To get started making your natural hair care products, all you need to do is be a little creative. Do not try to mix too many things at one time; (you should limit to two until you figure out how the concoction works for you), and have fun while you do it. The products you will need are likely already in your kitchen or bathroom, so you will save money no matter how large your hair care budget may be.
When deciding what ingredients to use, keep this general rule of thumb in mind. If you can ingest it safely, you are safe to use it on your hair. These are ingredients like fruit, cider vinegar, honey, and even beer. You can experiment with essential oils for fragrance, but remember that a few drops will go a long way.Mix and test your ingredients, being sure to take note of what worked well and what did not. Search around for recipes that are geared toward your specific purpose. If you need a clarifying formula, you are definitely going to want to use different ingredients than say a deep cleansing conditioner.
Any failures you experience will only bring you closer to the magic organic formula that you customized for your hair and rather than becoming upset at your “failure” realize that in setting out to create one thing, you may have created something even better! The worst that can happen when experimenting with all natural ingredients is that you will just have to wash your hair again.
